The Nefrontida Nephrology Center participated in the 4th Pancyprian Nephrology Conference.
As part of the conference, Dr. Andreas Kousios participated as a speaker with the presentation: “Indications for Kidney Biopsy in Oncology Cases,” highlighting the importance of accurate diagnosis and a personalized approach to patient care.
Onco-nephrology is one of the most modern and rapidly evolving fields of Nephrology, combining Oncology and Nephrology with the aim of improving care and treatment outcomes for patients with cancer and kidney disease.
At the same time, our Center’s Medical Director, Dr. Kyriakos Ioannou, participated in the chairing panel of one of the conference’s scientific sessions, actively contributing to scientific dialogue and knowledge exchange.
Nefrontida also participated in the conference exhibition area together with Proton Medical and Mr. Panayiotis Kkoufou, where the upcoming expansion of our Center in Larnaca was presented — a modern project aimed at further enhancing nephrology care services in Cyprus.
Within this context, the collaboration between Proton Medical and Nipro was also presented, with Proton Medical now serving as the official representative of Nipro in Cyprus. The new state-of-the-art Nipro dialysis machines will form part of the equipment of our new Center in Larnaca.
