From 3 to 10 September 2025, our Center organized its annual trip for hemodialysis patients, with this year’s destination being Thessaloniki.
The excursion offered our patients a precious opportunity to step away from the routine of treatment and enjoy moments of relaxation, joy, and renewal. In a safe and supportive environment, participants were able to share experiences, discover new places, and create lasting memories of companionship and happiness.
During the trip, day excursions were also organized to beautiful destinations outside the city, such as Edessa and Kastoria, allowing participants to experience the region’s stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
The group was accompanied with dedication by Dr. Spyros Koursoumpas, physician at our Center, and Senior Nursing Officer Ioanna Lakatamitou, who ensured not only the necessary medical supervision and smooth coordination of the trip, but also a sense of safety and care that allowed everyone to fully enjoy the experience.

Their collaboration was instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of the treatments. Thessaloniki, with its warmth, flavors, and vibrant atmosphere, offered everyone unforgettable memories and filled their hearts with optimism and strength for the journey ahead.
