Nefrontida Nephrology Center had the honour of actively participating in the 32nd Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association Conference, held on 12 & 13 December 2025 in Limassol.
During the conference, our nurse Ms Aspasia Andreou delivered a presentation entitled “Butterfly Skin”, outlining the main characteristics of the condition, the daily challenges faced by patients, as well as the importance of proper management of skin lesions. Special emphasis was placed on the crucial role of specialised and compassionate nursing care in improving patients’ quality of life.
At the same time, Senior Supervisor Nurse Ms Ioanna Lakatamitou participated in a workshop on ultrasound-guided vascular access cannulation, organised in collaboration with Ms Despo Theodorou, Cyprus Brand Ambassador and member of the Executive Committee of EDTNA/ERCA.
During the workshop, clinical cases from the daily use of ultrasound at our Centre were presented, highlighting the importance of modern technology in enhancing safety and quality of care.
