Nephro-Gastronomy – Recipe Book

One of the main goals of our Center is the holistic care and support to patients, while also implementing a significant and multifaceted social contribution project, within the framework of the Center’s corporate social responsibility. Social responsibility and the execution of humanitarian work constitute an integral part of our business philosophy.

The book “Nephrogastronomy – Creative Recipes and Tips for Healthy Eating” is part of Nefrontida’s social initiative and serves as tangible proof of our commitment to the care and well-being not only of our patients but of all individuals with kidney disease. The Center has distributed the book free of charge to all dialysis patients in Cyprus, while at the same time, it aims to raise social awareness across the country about kidney disease and its impact.

The cookbook is a collection of 26 excellent recipes (categorized into Appetizers & Salads, Pasta & Grains, Meat, Poultry & Fish, and Desserts), specifically adapted to the needs and dietary restrictions of individuals with kidney disease. It provides them the opportunity to expand their culinary horizons with creative and flavorful dishes that are both enjoyable and safe..

This book was created with love and professionalism for all those who have grown weary of constant “restrictions” and “forbidden” foods.. It is the result of a collaborative effort between our Center and the acclaimed chefs Galateia Pamboridi and Dimitris Christodoulou, along with the invaluable contribution of our Center’s specialized team members, Clinical Dietitians Nikoleta Papadopoulou and Anna Pachita.
