Nefrontida Nephrology Center is staffed by a head nurse, four senior nursing officers, and a team of specialized nursing professionals. Fully aware of the challenges faced by patients battling chronic kidney disease, we have invested in the rigorous selection of nursing staff to ensure they can recognize the difficulties associated with chronic kidney disease and dialysis treatment. Through their extensive experience, they provide the specialized care required for dialysis treatment as well as the holistic care that patients need.

The nursing staff implements our Center’s policy for systematic monitoring of the vascular access using ultrasound within the Unit. Monitoring is conducted both before puncture and during the treatment. This ensures the successful and safe puncture of the vascular access, as well as the correction of the needle position within the vessel during treatment when relevant indications arise on the dialysis machine.
Our patients are offered the most advanced extracorporeal support treatments (On-Line Hemodiafiltration) using 25 state-of-the-art dialysis machines with the latest technology, capable of serving 96 patients.
Additionally, we have made every effort to create a patient-friendly environment that makes them feel comfortable during their treatment.
The comfortable and well-maintained environment, the availability of internet access (Wi-Fi) in every dialysis room, the televisions in each room, the provision of a light meal and beverage, as well as the friendly staff, ensure a pleasant stay for every patient, enhancing their quality of life and allowing them to return home in good spirits and well-being.
Finally, at Nefrontida, the strictest hygiene standards are observed, including sterilization of all machines after each shift, disinfection of all beds, treatment and waiting areas, systematic screening of all patients for infectious diseases under the supervision of the infection control team, mandatory staff vaccination, and rigorous quality checks in all departments at regular intervals.
