- Administration of intravenous fluids for the purposes of intravenous hydration and correction of electrolyte and metabolic disorders.

- Administration of intravenous fluids and bicarbonates for nephroprotection, before and after radiological examinations involving contrast agents.

Collection of blood cultures using aseptic technique in cases of serious infections.

- Administration of intravenous antibiotics in cases of severe infections where initial IV therapy is recommended, or when the patient requires continuation of IV antibiotics following hospital discharge, or in cases of infections that cannot be effectively treated with oral antibiotics.
